ERIC is a distributor of microbial formulations to improve soil and water health.
ERIC is dedicated to supporting the sustainability of agriculture, other land uses and the environment through the production and distribution of microbial formulations that are specifically designed to balance soil function and improve water quality.
This section contains information about microbe cultures and their application for soil and water management.
Products and Services
This subsection describes the range of products and services delivered by ERIC and the benefits of using microbial formulations for soil and water treatments. This covers applications for crops, pasture, viticulture, horticulture, piggeries, feedlots, stables, sport's grounds, nurseries, etc.
Soil Health
These papers cover soil biology and soil health conditions and the measures that are required to maintain or sustain healthy soil processes. This includes maintaining adequate soil carbon and biological activity in the soil to improve soil chemistry and structure. Healthy soil conditions will solve soil salinity and acidity, enable improve soil water storage, improve plant production and nutrition and minimize plant disease.
Microbe cultures
These papers describe the nature and function of microbial formations and the interaction between microbes and the soil and water conditions.
Soil Applications
These papers describe how to apply microbial formulations to the soil. This includes soil testing, and monitoring soil and plant health conditions after applications.
Water Applications
These papers describe how to apply microbial formulations to water, eg. tanks, ponds, animal drinking troughs, waste water systems, sludge pits, fertigation/irrigation, channels, etc.
Workshops
ERIC conducts soil biology and microbial balancing workshops on a regular basis and for interested groups. The workshops include practical applications of microbes to soil and water systems, composts and animal husbandry. The workshop papers and presentations are included in this subsection.
Links
This subsection covers links to industry associations, other websites on soil biology, microbes and a wide range of other products and services related to biological farming.
Technical Papers
These papers cover a broad spectrum of issues associated with soil and water health and microbial balancing. This includes papers of interest from the Internet and case studies of soil and water health management; and biological farming. |
